The processes we have developed for making high-quality signs, also ideally suit the manufacture of certain types of labels. We are able to make large numbers of individually numbered stainless steel tags and machine identification plates very quickly in stainless steel and aluminium. We can also make smaller quantities or one-off labels and nameplates in just a few days, rather than the weeks or months quoted elsewhere.

Making thousands of identical labels cheaper than you can get from China is not what we do. We provide a rapid UK-based service for bespoke labels, tags, and identification plates. Because we manufacture high-quality metal signs, we can also manufacture decorative labels in brass, stainless steel, copper, and other metals to a very high standard for point of sale display and prestigious branding.

We only manufacture high quality lables and nameplates. For instance, we only use 316 marine grade stainless steel. There are no circumstances where 304 grade is superior to 316 grade for stainless steel nameplates, yet there are many conditions where 304 grade will be unsuitable, so it makes sense to only use 316 grade. Our anoprinted aluminium is anodised to an industry-leading thickness of 25µm, much thicker than for other types of anodic printing. This makes it more robust, both physically and chemically, so it will continue to give good service where inferior grades will fail.

We do not print onto the surface of metals. Surface prints are weak and are too easily damaged. We are the largest manufacturer of high-quality labels and nameplates in the UK. If surface printing was a good product to add to our range we would do so, but it is not. When a surface print is damaged or removed, the label or namplate becomes useless because the information is lost. Etching permanently engraves the information into the surface of the metal, so it remains even after extreme vandalism or fire. Anoprinting locks the graphics inside the hard surface of anodised aluminium, so it will not be destroyed by physical wear, fire, oils and solvents, even paint stripper.

Even the highest quality nameplates and labels will only give a good service if they are appropriate for their application. For some environments it is important to use the correct specification. See our information pages for use in road and rail or marine environments.
